Job Opening: Project Coordinator

This position is available immediately in our Montgomery, AL office.

Anzalone Liszt Research is a nationally-recognized Democratic polling firm with offices in Washington, DC, New York City, NY and Montgomery, Alabama. We are looking for an intelligent, hard-working professional with an interest in Democratic politics, and strong attention to detail.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Tracking and confirming phone bank schedules. 
  • Coordinating and confirming sample sizes, orders, and screens.
  • Being responsible for reviewing audits by geography/demographics before going into field        
  • Outlining regions prior to fielding
  • Outlining media markets prior to fielding
  • Producing mapping
  • Reading and editing questionnaires.
  • Outlining each projects daily quota/progress of interviews.  Confirming daily completes/problems.
  • Reviewing daily partials for demo/geographic reliability – communicating problems/needs.
  • Reading and editing baseline results. 
  • Tracking completion of tabs and tables
  • Reviewing tabs and tables for accuracy
  • Tracking post-benchmark target dates for focus groups, trend and tracking polls.
  • Tracking field/list costs for each project and profit margins.  Review phone bank invoices.
  • Update client lists.
  • Set up/update server folder system for each client.

Preference given to candidates who possess a mix of the following:

  • Ability to multi-task (e.g., handle the programming load for multiple surveys at any given time)
  • Experience working with data in political campaigns
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Experience in scheduling or a scheduling department.
  • The ability to laugh at oneself or tell a good joke

 Job Opening: Research Analyst

This position is available immediately in our Montgomery, AL office.

Anzalone Liszt Research is a nationally-recognized Democratic polling firm with offices in Washington, DC and Montgomery, Alabama. We are looking for an intelligent, hard-working professional with an interest in Democratic politics, and a proven ability (or willingness to learn) to program surveys in SPSS.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Program survey questionnaires, tables, and crosstabs in SPSS
  • Demographic weighting

Preference given to candidates who possess a mix of the following:

  • Previous SPSS Data and/or Reporter software experience
  • Ability to multi-task (e.g., handle the programming load for multiple surveys at any given time)
  • Experience working with data in political campaigns
  • Ability to run multivariate analysis (e.g. regression, cluster, factor)
  • Knowledge of advanced programming in Excel and/or Word
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related discipline
  • The ability to laugh at oneself or tell a good joke
