ANZALONE LISZT RESEARCH SERVICES 

polling - A variety of polling options are available in order to best meet the needs of our clients.  Whether in need of an assessment or feasibility study or to track changes in public opinion over time, Anzalone Liszt Research is able to work from start to finish using methodology designed to provide quality results.  Read below for more information on the polling services that we offer. 

  • benchmark - A poll used to test image, messaging, and issues as well as to determine the demographics of an area. These polls typically run 18-20 minutes and provide a standard of comparison for future polling. 
  • assessment - Before committing to a campaign or project, it is often neccessary to determine the feasability of doing so.  Assessment polls test imaging, name id and message.  These polls are generally around 15 minutes in length.
  • Track - A short poll typically 5-7 minutes in length that may test the effect of recent advertising on constituents or shifts in public opinion. 
  • Trend - A poll generally 10-12 minutes in length conducted after a benchmark or assessment poll.  Trend polling is often used to test issues and message.  Done over a period of time, these polls are also useful in determining shifts in public opinion.  

FOCUS GROUPS - Focus groups consist of a group of 8-12 respondents engaging in a discussion of a variety of topics in order to provide more in-depth information on why the participants hold a certain view.  The groups are also a good means by which to gauge participant reactions to new ideas and information as well as to test television advertisements, candidate or company image, or to gain more insight on voter or consumer attitudes and opinions.  Each focus group is designed to meet the client's need.  Anzalone Liszt Research works closely with the client on topics to be discussed and material to be presented to the group.
